RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF THE PEOPLE STRATEGY
As Executive Vice President of People & Culture, Kirstie supports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the business. Since joining AEG Europe in 2011, she works to ensure that the organisation’s values are reflected in people-oriented decisions.
Responsible for setting the people direction for over 1,200 employees across 12 different offices and venues, Kirstie’s focus is on creating a business that is as inclusive and representative as the fan base it entertains every day. One of the ways she has cemented inclusivity at the heart of AEG Europe’s culture, is through the rollout of the ‘We All Make a Difference’ initiative – a comprehensive action plan which sets out a clear set of priorities and accountable actions to foster a culture of inclusion. With the aim of ensuring employees feel a sense of belonging, connection and – most importantly – are respected, the initiative saw the introduction of eight Employee Network Groups (ENGs), focused on each of the company’s four values, alongside specific groups focused on families, women, embRACE, Pride, as well as a group centred around mental health and wellbeing. The ENGs ensure all employees are given a voice and that the voices of traditionally marginalised groups are elevated.
Showcasing her leadership in ensuring the business is one of Britain’s top employers who keep staff smiling, AEG Europe was also awarded the Sunday Times’ Best Place to Work in 2024.
An accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years of commercial and generalist experience; Kirstie has largely worked within the Sports, Leisure, Events and Live Entertainment sectors.
Outside of AEG, Kirstie has always had a keen interest in football, having volunteered for over 10 years as Secretary of the local grassroots youth football club committee, where she provides support for over 25 football teams within the community ranging from Under 8s to Under 18s.
