RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING ALL OF AEG'S GLOBAL REAL ESTATE AND VENUE OPERATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE US.

Alex Hill is President & Chief Executive Officer of AEG International. A global leader in sport and live entertainment, AEG own and operate some of the world’s leading arenas and venues, numerous sports franchises, as well as a collection of companies dedicated to producing, promoting, and presenting world-class live entertainment.

As President & CEO of AEG International, Alex is responsible for overseeing all of AEG’s global real estate and venue operations outside of the US, leading the division’s strategic vision across its core European and Asia Pacific markets.

AEG operate, and have ownership interests in, The O2 in London, Uber Arena and Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Barclays Arena in Hamburg, UOB Live in Bangkok and the soon-to-be-opened IG Arena in Nagoya, Japan. In his capacity as CEO, Alex is also focused on advancing several other developing projects, including but not limited to a planned arena for Edinburgh Park in Scotland, the Bangkok Mall Arena in Thailand, and an arena-anchored entertainment district planned for Osaka, Japan.

AEG’s International interests also include entertainment districts at The O2 in London and Uber Platz in Berlin; the Eisbären Berlin – the most successful ice hockey team in Germany’s DEL; an ownership interest in Hammarby Fotboll, a premier soccer club in Stockholm, Sweden; management of the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China; as well as an ownership interest in the Paris Entertainment Company – operator of the Accor Arena, the adidas Arena and the Bataclan in France.

Prior to being appointed President & CEO of AEG International, Alex served as CEO of AEG’s European businesses, during which time he grew the company’s regional footprint cementing its leadership position in market. As CEO of AEG Europe, in addition to the aforementioned sporting and venue portfolios, Alex’s remit also included AEG Presents’ Touring, Venues and Festival divisions. Under his direction, AEG significantly grew its network of AEG Presents venues, launched new festival offerings and delivered record-breaking tours, as well as consecutive YOY growth across its European Arena portfolio, resulting in The O2 being named Billboard’s Venue of the Decade.

Alex has been with AEG for over 18 years, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer of AEG Europe, joining the company in 2007. During this time, he was responsible for helping to drive the company’s commercial growth across nine European markets, delivering operational efficiencies across its portfolio of assets and exploring expansion opportunities.

Alex lives in South West London with his wife, sons and dog, and in his spare time enjoys cycling, golf and keeping fit.
