RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERARCHING TECHONOLOGY STRATEGY ACROSS THE US, EUROPE AND ASIA PACIFIC
As Chief Information Officer (CIO) for AEG Global Technology, David is the global front-runner in live entertainment’s senior-most technology leader. He works to ensure AEG are at the forefront of implementing innovative technology systems and tools to bring to life the company’s 220,000+ annual events that entertain over 100 million fans a year.
Supporting scalable growth while also delivering technology expertise, services, and support across AEG’s global businesses, David also oversees the company’s information security and privacy teams, as well as providing a consolidated infrastructure that aligns the company’s core pillars of technology, data, and innovation globally. David also works in close alignment with the technology teams at AEG venues like The O2 and Crypto.com arena, as well as partnering with the company’s subsidiaries’ AEG Presents, AEG Sports and AXS to deliver expertise, services, and support globally.
A digital and technology leader in the broadcast, entertainment, retail and real estate sectors for over 20 years, David also spearheads the company’s PRIDE Employee Network Group with the aim of driving change by giving employees a greater voice, as well as fostering a culture of inclusion and shared accountability.
David sits on the Sport & Entertainment Alliance in Technology executive advisory board, and prior to his time with AEG, he headed up technology at Virgin Radio and Ginger Media Group.
David lives with his husband and graduated from the University of Oxford with Honours in Chemistry.
