With a capacity of up to 18,000 guests and world-class sound, lighting and staging systems, the Mercedes-Benz Arena delivers landmark music, cultural, sporting, and theatrical events. The venue features luxury suites and amenities including The Mixing Room, a club with VIP facilities that accommodates up to 1,000 guests.
Opened in 2010, the Mercedes-Benz Arena is operated by a joint venture consisting of OPG, AEG, and NBA. It is a 365-day-a-year lifestyle destination and includes a 200,000 square foot retail district comprised of concept shops, a wide variety of food and beverage options, and an ice-skating rink. The venue is also home to Shanghai’s leading cinematic experience, with six screens and seating for 800 movie-goers, that offers both international and Chinese movies. Featured artists and top events include Jay Chou, Jackie Cheung, Fish Leong, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Disney on Ice, Cirque Du Soleil, NBA, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and more.
