Located in Hammersmith, West London, Eventim Apollo opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace cinema, designed in the Art Deco style by renowned theatre architect Robert Cromie. Starting in the 1960’s it played host to many legendary music acts of the day, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Marley.
Eventim Apollo is also the home for comedy, hosting a variety of acts including Jimmy Carr, Mo Gilligan, Alan Carr, Sarah Millican, Michael McIntyre and the celebrated comedy show Live at the Apollo.
In 2012, AEG purchased the 5,200-person capacity venue which now hosts over 300 events annually.
