The team have won the Deutsche Eishockey Liga championship in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025, and hoisted the Deutscher Eishockey Cup in 2008. They also accounted for 15 East German league championships between 1966 and 1988 and in 2010, the Eisbären won the European Trophy.
