Romeo Santos set to headline The O2 for the first time this year

Latin superstar Romeo Santos will headline The O2on Sunday 2 July 2023, as part of his tour for his latest album Formula, Vol. 3’.

 

Tickets are available toThe O2and Virgin Media customers via Priority from 10:00am on Wednesday 17 May and go on general sale at 10:00am on Friday 19 May via www.theo2.co.uk.

 

Romeo Santos rose to fame as the lead singer for the biggest Latin band ever, Aventura, which he formed with his cousin and best friends. Their mainstream Dominican Republic originating bachata sound was fused with hip hop and R&B to create international chart topping hits that he will also be performing on the night like ‘Obsesión’, ‘El Perdedor’, ‘Un Beso’, ‘Los Infieles’, ‘Mi Corazoncito’, ’Por Un Segundo’,  ‘Dile Al Amor’ and more.

 

As a solo artist, singer/songwriter Romeo Santos has been even more successful. He’s released five solo albums to date and has musically collaborated with high profile artists like Drake, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Marc Anthony, Karol G, Nicki Minaj, Rosalia, Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee & more. If you’re a movie fan, you may have also spotted the Bronx born Latin heartthrob in a cameo role alongside Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Paul Walker in ‘Furious 7’, and as a voice artist in ‘The Angry Birds Movie.’

 

Romeo Santos’s Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage is very much the foundation of the bachata that we know and love today. His Latin legacy has exponentially grown since his days of performing in the Bronx community. He’s a versatile artist, and also has Reggaeton Chart topping hits including ‘X si Volvemos’ with Karol G, ‘El Farsante’ Remix with Ozuna, ‘Ella y Yo’ with Don Omar, ‘Volvi’ with Bad Bunny, ‘Bella y Sensual’ with Daddy Yankee & Nicky Jam and “Noche de Sexo” with Wisin & Yandel.

 

You can also expect to hear bachata’s global superstar sing hits from his highly successful trilogy of chart-topping solo albums – ‘Formula, Vol. 1’, ‘Formula, Vol. 2’, and ‘Formula, Vol. 3’.
