HEAVYWEIGHT ICONS DERECK CHISORA AND DEONTAY WILDER COLLIDE AT LONDON’S THE O2 THIS APRIL
Dereck Chisora and Deontay Wilder are set to meet in the biggest heavyweight showdown of the year on Saturday 4 April 2026 at London’s The O2, streamed live on DAZN.
Priority Tickets are available to O2 and Virgin Media customers at https://priority.o2.co.uk/ from 2pm on Wednesday 4 February and go on general sale at 2pm on Friday 6 February via www.theo2.co.uk.
The toughest heavyweight of his generation meets the hardest puncher in boxing history, as Chisora and Wilder collide in London in a must-see fight that will grab the attention of the world. Both Chisora and Wilder, icons of the division who will both be having their 50th pro fights, know a win will catapult them into a shot at Oleksandr Usyk, with the defeated man facing the prospect of retirement. The stakes could not be higher at The O2 this Spring, as MF Pro and Queensberry deliver a blockbuster event in the capital.
‘War’ Chisora is the heart-on-his sleeve people’s champion, who is fighting for a second crack at Usyk and the chance to cement his legacy in the sport. Wilder, the former world champ who held the WBC belt for five years, wants the set the record straight and prove he remains the most devastating puncher there has ever been. This is a legacy-defining match-up between the destructive force and the immovable object that you cannot afford to miss.
Dereck Chisora said: “This is an amazing fight that will deliver for the fans. I’ve fought all the big names in the heavyweight division, but Wilder was someone I was destined to face. Everyone knows that Wilder is a big puncher, but if he can’t nail me to the canvas, then the game is up and I will grind him down, beat him up and stop him.”
Deontay Wilder said: “Dereck, you best make sure you are ready for what is coming your way on April 4. Thank-you to MF Pro for making this fight possible, and it will not be for the faint-hearted, because I’m heading to London with an appetite for destruction. I am the biggest puncher the heavyweight division has ever seen, and you’ll find that out on April 4.”
