The 10-day event comprises of multiple weekends featuring an eclectic line-up, and four days of free entry and community activities, closed out with three standalone headline shows in the APE Presents series.
The first APE was held in 2018 and the festival has featured such artists as Gorillaz, The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk, Tame Impala, The National, Disclosure, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

The open-air festival takes place the last weekend of August in the Domaine National de SaintCloud, located just outside Paris.
